T O P I C R E V I E WjaneHave you entered relationships and only later, either during the relationship or after it ended, discovered that the two of you had horrible synastry?Have you not entered a relationship, or delayed entering one, only to discover later that the two of you had wonderful synastry? If either of these scenarios is true for you, do you think you would've chosen differently if you'd been aware of your poor/excellent synastry beforehand?I thought of this because I was apprehensive about getting involved romantically with my boyfriend. Although I loved him dearly as a friend, I didn't think he wanted the same deep and committed relationship I wanted. At the time we met and became friends, he was happy with casual flings and I didn't want to become just another girl to him. I feared being heartbroken or having my pride wounded. I went through a long inner conflict before I finally decided to embrace what I felt about him, acknowledge how he felt about me, and become open to enjoying whatever we honestly had together. Well, we've been together for over 5 years, so my fears didn't turn out to be true. Also, it turns out that in synastry we have many aspects of a serious, significant relationship and lots of karmic aspects. But before we got involved, I knew nothing about synastry. It's only in the past 2 years that I've learned more than the very basics. So I was wondering if I would have been less anxious about starting the relationshp if I had known that in synastry we had many of the aspects I wanted in our relationship.I'm glad I didn't know though. I'm proud of taking the risk I did and doing so with a genuine acceptance of whatever the future may hold. But I still wonder if I would've entered into the relationship sooner if I had known about all this...Can anyone relate?Diandra23Completely!Well, weīre only together for a year but i also had some doubst of giving my heart so sudden. Its not cause i didnt loved him or trusted - iīve never felt this way before really - i think it was mainly the fear of loosing and seeing my expectations turning to dust after .I too didnt knew anything about our sinastry before. And i also think that i ~f i knew better i would be much more nervous about it : cause when we know that he might be our SM,the risk is minimum , but if we dont know it before, its so much significant on taking that risk!I felt completelly free and happy after committed to him. All my family was agaisnt it,cause he lives apart from me and they thought he was one more guy who wanted to have fun.Of course i knew they were wrong and deffended him with all my heart,I KNOW him really and feels what he is - the way heīs with me itīs his true soul and spirit - so, how couldnt I take the risk and let him embrace me like no other? Now that i knoe heīs my SM ( counscioulsy) i feel good with myself for have letting my heart speak more higher than my and otherīs earthy minds Ann7Jane, this is too freaky! I'm kind of going through this right now. There is a guy I've liked for a while {not the venus square pluto guy, lol...kind of walked away from that}. Anyway, I've harbored feelings for him for a VERY long time. Something in my gut has always led me to him, like a magnet. But the timing was always off for us {I was married, then my dad became ill} When we finally did go out, the date didn't go very well. I was extremely nervous... I kind of put a wall up for fear of being rejected first. Just recently I did our synastry and it looks great! Very pasionate which explains a lot because I felt an overwhelming attraction to him.Tell me what you think Nick's Sun is SEXTILE Ann's Sun Nick's Jupiter is SEXTILE Ann's Sun Nick's Mars is TRINE Ann's MercuryNick's Venus is SEXTILE Ann's MarsNick's Mars is SEXTILE Ann's VenusNick's Venus is SEXTILE Ann's JupiterNick's Saturn is TRINE Ann's VenusNick's Uranus is CONJUNCT Ann's MarsNick's Mars is SEXTILE Ann's SaturnNick's Venus is SEXTILE Ann's PlutoNick's Neptune is SEXTILE Ann's MarsNick's Pluto is CONJUNCT Ann's MarsNick's Neptune is SEXTILE Ann's JupiterNick's Pluto is CONJUNCT Ann's JupiterNick's Sun is SQUARE Ann's JupiterNick's Sun is SQUARE Ann's UranusNick's Mercury is SQUARE Ann's MarsNick's Mercury is SQUARE Ann's JupiterNick's Mercury is SQUARE Ann's UranusNick's Jupiter is SQUARE Ann's VenusEverything here is under a 5 degree orb. But I'd love to know all the house placements.Anyway, weird you brought this subject up because it's something I've been thinking about. janeDiandra - Yes, I think I know what you mean about the fear of losing and not having your expectations met. It's almost more attractive to love someone from afar and still have a pure hope for how you would be together than to experience the reality and find out that it's not as good as the fantasy. But since we live in reality, I always eventually opt to go that route. Usually after I can't stand the sexual tension anymore. And I'm glad you feel good about listening to your heart. It's a hard thing to do when your own mind and that of people close to you can supply unlimited doubts.janeAnn - Wow, must be something in the water that put us on the same wavelength. Poor Venus-square-Pluto guy (who I baptize VSP), but I can understand your decision...those Venus-square-Pluto people are a mess! Your synastry with this new guy looks good too. Is it another Cap? I see that you two also share a Mars-Pluto conjunction. Niiice. I figure you must share that aspect with everyone around Nick's and VSP's age...you must have extraordinary self-control if that's the same age group you went to school with! I would've been unbearably attracted to all my classmates. In addition to Mars-Pluto, for romance you guys have other really nice aspects: Mars-Venus double whammies (that'll be fun ), Venus sextile Pluto, Uranus conjunct Mars, Neptune sextile Mars...and for long-term feelings, you have Saturn trine Venus...for fun, pleasant times together you have Venus sextile Jupiter. Your Mercury makes a nice trine to his Mars, but it looks like his Mercury is square-happy. You go for the Mercury squares I see, since I remember you and VSP had some hard Mercury aspects too. Do you like guys who are very verbal and enjoy a debate? Witty? Maybe you need squares in synastry before you notice and are attracted to a guy's communication style. Anyway, the synastry looks good. I'd also recommend checking out some asteroids. Do you use astro.com? They're a great site. In their "extended charts" section, they let you do synastry and you can add asteroids there by listing their numbers. Check out Karma (3811), Valentine (447), Amor (1221), Eros (433), and Psyche (16). They're probably the most important for romantic synastry, although there are other good ones too.Ann7Hey Jane Maybe it's because you're a sag w/ scorp rising and I'm a scorp w/ sag rising, lol.I'm still very attracted to VSP {lol} but the vibe I get is to walk away. Nick is a capricorn, too {YOU'RE GOOD!}. His birthday is 12/24/67, about three weeks before VSP {my first husband and the absolute love of my life thus far is 12/17/67....so it must be the mars conjunct pluto....which is weird because I have mars conjuct pluto natal. Not sure how those might intertwine.} As far as the squares go, I definitely find witty men attractive. I don't know much about asteroids but I am off to check the sight out now. Thanks {again } for your input!!!
